what happens at home?
As you approach TSF, a sensor detects your presence and projects on your legs the actual level of the tide through a laser-coloured line, one for each zone of Venice.
The shape of the line also tells you if the water is going to raise up or down in the next six hours. As you move away from the sensor the laser projects on the wall the name of the target zone you have experienced.

i.e. When high tide is 100 cm, in San Marco’s square water will reach your knees, but if you’re in Cannaregio it will only touch your ankles.

what happens at the key zones (stazione)?
When you pass near the TSF, a sensor detects your presence, records your movements for a few seconds and immediately projects them on the screen in front of you. The current level of the water will be added to this image, allowing you to interact with your own projection and the water on your legs. As soon as you leave the system will play continuously the last animation that has been recorded to intrigue the passers.
