The Name
Our project name derives from the Venetian dialect word zógame, which means “play me”.
We have chosen ZóGAME for various reasons:
- it is familiar and well-known to all people living in Venice;
- it addresses directly the user in a colloquial way;
- it suggets the playfulness of the interaction with the software;
- it reminds when you use your mobile phone as a random wild card during the game;
- it includes the english word game, highlighted by the upper-case, in order to communicate
immediately to both Venician and not Venician people what the software is about.
