From our original idea to the final result many changes were made (from functions to graphics). We have tried to make fine balance between modern technology and something immaterial like haiku poetry.
We think that we have quite achieved the mood desired, for the prototype at least, because in the final work some details are still missing.

Graphics
We had some problems with the screens graphic, because we first tried vectorial and some others detailed photographic images, but they didn’t fit well the delicate ‘Haiku’ mood.
At the end we decided to choose very plain photographic images to convey the lightness and the simplicity of the application.
_
Functions
We had to delete some functions, like ‘option mode’ to personalize the software, or ‘contact mode’ to let authors meet each other, or ‘cadavre exquis mode’ to create new haiku with other people.
Most of these functions were too technological and putting them in the system could divert the users from the main aim of ‘Haiku’ software.
