In the beginning, we start considering the music composing field and how to make an application that can work for musicians in a very simple way. The first idea was having an environment where put things like boxes that can be highlighted to listen to the musical sketch.
When we made this video we haven’t yet a clear idea of the environment, but in a way we imagine an isometric perspective.When we change way and we develop the idea of the shared sketchbook, we think about several ways to show the touch screen interaction. We try to fake that by using the green screen while the flash animations going on background, but we discovered that the result was not good.
We find out also a way to play the movies directly on the pda, but the quality of the pda’s screen was bad. We then move to film the interactions on ipod touch, just for discover that for display to the people having quite the real thing working was useless, because the finger disturb the explanations. So, in the end, we just put the flash movie fullscreen inside the scenario movie.
