This workshop, on physical computing, was run by Yaniv Steiner from 19 to 23 January 2009. It starting by hacking toys, and ended by asking students to design and prototype devices which automatically took changing data from the internet and manifested this data physically through the behaviour of domestic equipment, such as fans and hair dryers. The devices had to be critical or poetic, rather than functional and productive.
